The El Camino College Foundation will honor four extraordinary alumni and three community partners at the 75th Anniversary Gala / Distinguished Alumni & Gratitude Awards scheduled for March 4, 2022. This year's event recognizes individuals and organizations that have achieved great success in many areas, and also kicks off the 75th Diamond Anniversary of El Camino College. Celebrations are planned throughout 2022. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities for the gala are available online. All event proceeds support El Camino's students through the South Bay Promise and Warrior Pantry.
Distinguished Alumni honorees for 2022 include Karin Baker, corporate social responsibility, American Honda Motor Co., Inc.; Ian and Marilyn MacLeod, entrepreneurs; Francisco X. Rivera, sports broadcaster, Fox Sports; and Kirk Rossberg, president, Torrance Bakery. These exemplary alumni have furthered their educational and career goals and have shown outstanding achievements in their chosen field and through philanthropic and volunteer work. In addition, one area philanthropist, a community service organization, and one regional corporate partner will be honored with Gratitude Awards. Mary Haag, Northrop Grumman, and the Manhattan Beach Rotary are our honorees for 2022 and have demonstrated an enduring commitment to the success of El Camino students through the years.
