El Camino College recently announced that most courses will continue to be offered online this fall. The fall class schedule provides about 20% of on-campus classes, with the remainder offered in remote, online and hybrid formats to provide a safe learning environment for students. El Camino continues to follow the guidelines set by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to ensure a safe and positive transition back to campus life.
Updates for Fall 2021:
- Most lectures will continue to be conducted online.
- Face-to-face classes for programs that prepare students for essential industries like health care, public safety, and manufacturing will continue to take place on campus in limited capacities.
- Following Los Angeles County Department of Public Health guidelines, physical conditioning and limited practices for student-athletes continue to occur outside, and under the supervision of the Athletic Department. Social distancing is strictly enforced.
- A limited amount of physical education, music, and art courses continue to take place on campus with restrictions.
- A limited number of courses with hard-to-convert labs will be offered on campus.
