“SECOND ALMOST-ANNUAL” TOMATO PLANT SALE!

Saturday June 4th from 9:00 AM ‘til 1:00 PM at the El Camino Horticulture Department Nursery/Greenhouse complex.

Located on the west side of the stadium between the stadium and the two story parking structure. Enter the campus from Manhattan Beach Blvd. Use the first driveway west of Lemoli Ave. and follow the signs south on to the campus towards the stadium area.

What do we have?
We have about 1500 tomato plants, pepper plants and eggplants (leanin’ heavily on the tomato plants) including: Beefmaster VFN Hybrid, Better Boy VFN Hybrid, Big Boy Hybrid, Brandywine Red, Bush Champion, Champion II VFNT Hybrid, Early Girl VFF Hybrid, Grape Tomato, La Roma II VFFNA Hybrid, Momotaro, Red Pear, Roma VF, San Marzano Redorata, Sun Gold Hybrid, Sweet 100 VF Hybrid, Yellow Currant, and Yellow Pear; also: Hansel Hybrid, Black Beauty & Fengyuan Purple Eggplants, also also: Jalapeno M, Serrano & Better Bell Hybrid Peppers, also also also: Cisineros Tomatillos. We also have a few other perennials in the mix like a few 1 gallon Iceberg roses, and . . .

How much? All of the tomatoes, peppers and eggplants are $2.00 each. And that’s all going back into it for potting soil, pots, tools, and whatever else we need to keep the Horticulture Department Nursery/Greenhouse complex floating above that briny abyss.
