Canvas Login Instructions
Once you have officially registered for an online course class, you will be able to log into
Canvas follow the steps below.
Please note, you will not be able to log in to the course site until one week or the day the semester starts.
STEP 1: Go to https://elcamino.instructure.com/login/saml
STEP 2: Your User ID is the same as your ECC email address.
ex. gperez OR gema_perez OR gema_perez1001
DO NOT Put "@elcamino.edu"
The Admissions office gives each student enrolled in El Camino College a Student Identification (ID) username. *Some ECC student ID numbers have been adjusted to accommodate multiple persons with the same name. If step 2 does not work, please visit this site to verify your ID: https://secure.elcamino.edu/portal/logininfo/main.aspx?item=forgot
STEP 3: Password is the same as the one used to log into MyECC.
If you need to reset password, please read through before following directions:
- Click on the link to be issued a temporary password: https://www3.elcamino.edu/uportal/E14Portal/Reset.aspx
- Copy your temporary password, and go to MyECC portal to set a new password along with temporary password. Portal page: http://myecc.elcamino.edu/student/pages/default.aspx
- After you have successfull logged into MyECC with your new password, you can now log in to Canvas.
