Running through beautiful eucalyptus-lined Torrance roads, 10 ECC student veterans, four staff members and Dean Idania Reyes joined the Fourth Annual Torrance Armed Forces Day 5K for Freedom on May 18.

The annual ECC Art Department Open House showed off the talent and skills of current students and gave prospective students a chance to tour the facilities and learn more about the comprehensive programs that prepare ECC students for university transfer, careers, and employment.

ECC Dance Department student Tzong-Han (Hanna) Wu's original choreographic work "Prosecutor On That Finger" is one of six pieces selected to participate in a prestigious national dance festival this summer.

The El Camino College Honors Transfer Program (HTP) had another outstanding year, with students breaking achievement records in several areas.

Congrats to graduates from the El Camino College Fire Academy Class 152! Fire Academy graduates celebrated with a ceremony that allowed graduates to demonstrate the skills they've gained from classroom and field training.

Kudos to Traci Granger, professor in Health Sciences & Athletics, for setting a national record and winning five events in the recent United States Masters Swimming 2019 spring championships in Mesa, Arizona!
