Alumni Success: Phillip Miranda

As an intern for two summers with the California Democratic Party and Gavin Newsom's gubernatorial campaign, Phillip Miranda did it all. From assisting with outreach events and meeting delegates to assembling office furniture and making coffee, the ECC alumnus received valuable hands-on experience on the campaign trail.

Award Winning: Communication Studies Department

Congratulations to the El Camino College Communication Studies Department, which was recently recognized with the 2019 Model Communication Program Award at the Western States Communication Association's (WSCA) 90th convention in Seattle.
