Remember that Metro requires all passengers to wear facial masks or coverings and maintain appropriate social distance from other passengers.
Students who need a Metro U-Pass can visit the Basic Needs Office and take an assessment with our staff to qualify for a free U-Pass now! Drop-in Assistance at the Basic Needs Office (Decathlon Room, Bookstore Bldg. 2nd Floor ) is currently available:
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Wednesday, 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
The U-Pass is provided as a sticker that should be affixed to a photo ID. If you need an El Camino College photo ID, fill out this form.
The Metro U-Pass is prorated in an effort to lower the cost as the term progresses. See below for pricing.
If you lose your Metro U-Pass, come to the El Camino College Bookstore for a replacement sticker! You will be charged the $2.00 initial setup fee again, but no other fees will be added.
Students who also lost their El Camino College ID card can get a free replacement ID card. Just fill out this form!
The Metro U-Pass is only available to El Camino College students. However, if you are an El Camino College employee or a community member who uses public transportation, you may purchase a TAP card at the Bookstore. TAP cards cost $2.00 and then stored funds can be loaded.
