Submit an Incident Report & Referral Form to report and/or refer concerns within the El Camino College community. You may use this form to refer El Camino students for follow up on issues including, but not limited, to the following:

  • Need for support resources (e.g., mental health resources, sexual assault support services, food or housing insecurity)
  • Unusual or concerning behavior (e.g., suicidal ideation, extreme changes in mood or class participation, threats, class disruptions)
  • Potential violations of the Standards of Student Conduct or any other Board Policy or Administrative Policy
  • Student grievances/complaints against an employee, a college decision, or an action (in the classroom or outside the classroom) that violates and/or adversely affects a student’s status, rights, or privileges per Administrative Policy 5530

The Office of Title IX, Diversity, and Inclusion receives, investigates, compiles reports and makes recommendations for the resolution of both employee and student discrimination and sexual harassment complaints.

It develops, maintains and monitors the District’s Equal Employment Opportunity Plan and ensures equal employment opportunity and compliance with rules, regulations and laws.

The office is also responsible for certain program development, problem identification and data analysis, compilation and reporting. 

Per Senate Bill 553, employers are required to address workplace violence hazards to protect employees and comply with the regulatory requirement of establishing, implementing, and maintaining an effective written Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP). The El Camino Community College District is committed to legal compliance regarding employee safety.  The plan is currently posted on the Workplace Safety and Risk Management website.

Employees should report workplace violence to the El Camino Community College Police Department, the Workplace Violence Reporting Form - Formstack or call 9-1-1 if the threat/act of violence is imminent and serious.
