Common Course Numbering
Common Course Numbering (CCN) is a statewide system that standardizes course numbers and titles across all California Community Colleges, making it easier for students to plan their academic paths and transfer between colleges.
Utilizing Common Course Numbering
Common Course Numbering (CCN) makes it easier to understand and transfer courses across California Community Colleges. All CCN courses now include the letter “C” to show they follow the new system. Keep in mind—some courses now have brand-new prefixes, so be sure to double-check!
