Go to Certree-Login or Sign Up:

Sign in or create a free Certree account. Please use your personal email when creating your account.

Once logged in, search for El Camino College under 'Issuers' and connect your student records.

You can now view your records at no cost. A fee is only charged if you choose to share your records with others.

Cost

$6.00 per share (if you are only going to share to one university/college at this time) or

$24.00quartly plan (three months if you are sending to multiple sources over a period of time. Unlimited shares for this time period) or

$36.00annual plan: Unlimited shares of your credentials

Even if you don't need to send your records right now, you can still create a Certree account to view and keep all your important student documents in one secure place for future use. 

There are now two ways to view your unofficial transcript:

•  For current students the quickest way to view an unofficial copy your El Camino Transcript is through MyECC. 
•  For Alumni that have course work beginning Fall 1983* create a free Certree account to securely view your El Camino student record online at any ti
• Go to Certree Login/Sign-Up
  • Sign in or create a free Certree account. Please use your personal email when creating your account.
  • Once logged in, search for El Camino College under 'Issuers' and connect your student records. 
  • You can now view your records at no cost. A fee is only charged if you choose to share your records with others. 

*If you have course work prior to Fall 1983 please request your record through creating an account with Certree, El Camino will upload your record so you will have access to view at no cost. A fee is only charged if you choose to share your records with others.

 

 

Requesting an IGETC/CSU certification must be done in writing. Please complete this form  Once you submit your request, your eligibility for certification will be evaluated. If you are eligible, you will be contacted by an Admissions representative letting you know that your certification has been posted and you may request a certified transcript. Once contacted by Admissions, you will need to request a transcript to be sent to your transfer institution. Any fees associated with your request will be collected at that time. Please wait to hear from an Admissions representative before ordering a transcript. If you request a transcript before being contacted, your transcript may not contain your certification. We will not refund fees paid for transcripts requested prior to you being contacted by Admissions that do not contain your certification. If that transcript was one of your two free transcripts, you will not be compensated with another free transcript.

If you are an investigator or other third party trying to obtain an unofficial transcript for a student, you will need to provide a signed release from the student to request a transcript. We currently do not have a way for third parties to request official transcripts.

SEND ELECTRONICALLY: Must come from the originating institution or if the college uses Certree to send electronic transcripts they can came from the student as long as they are sent officially.  Send to Admissions & Records at [email protected]. Transcripts emailed to any other address may not get processed in a timely manner resulting in the transcripts having to be resent. El Camino College will NOT accept electronic transcripts emailed from the student unless the issuing college uses Certree.

ATTENTION: If you attended your other institution under a name different from the name on your El Camino Records please change your name at your other institution or at El Camino College before requesting your transcripts to avoid delays in the processing of your transcript. If you are unable to change your name please visit the Admissions Office virtually or in-person during office hours to inform us of the name issues.

 

All transcripts from colleges or high schools from outside the United States must be evaluated by an  international transcript evaluation service accredited by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. Evaluated international transcripts must be sent directly to the El Camino College Admissions Office from the evaluation service. Electronic copies may be emailed from the evaluating service to [email protected]. Evaluated transcripts brought in or emailed by the student will not be accepted.

Is there a fee for using Certree?

To view your records (transcripts, certificates, diplomas, and verifications) is free. The is a $6.00 per share/$24.00 quarterly plan (unlimited shares)/or $36.00 annual plan (unlimited shares)

How do I track my records were viewed?

After sharing a document, you can see real-time tracking in your Certree Vault under the 'Share History' tab.

Former student: Can't find your record in Certree?

Certree first attempts to match using your Social Security number (SSN) or El Camino Student ID number. If there is no SSN on file with El Camino, Certree will try to match using the personal email address and phone nubmer we have on file.

• Common reasons you may not be located:
  • No SSN on file and yoru Certree email or phone does not match our records.
  • You do not remember your student ID number and cannot confirm your identity
• What to Do:
  • If your contact information has changed update your information with us: https://elcamino.formstack.com/forms/address 
  • Create or sign in to Certree using your personal email (the one you just updated with El Camino College)
  • If you still cannot be located, please visit our Admissions & Records virtural desk for help

How does mailing a transcript work in Certree?

If you select 'Share via Mail' when requesting your transcript in Certree, you will need to download and print both:

• Your Official Academic Transcript
• The Certree Certification Page that verifies authenticity

These two documents must be mailed together to the receiving institution. Certree does not mail on your transcripts on your behalf.

**Important: If the certification page is not included, the transcript will not be accepted as official. Any Alteration of the transcript after download will also make it invalid.**

What happened to ordering transcripts through Parchment?

El Camino College has fully transitioned to Certree for requesting and sharing all official academic credentials. This transition ensures enhanced security, immediate document retrieval, and greater control over your personal academic records. YOU are in control of sending your records!
