Activating Your Scholarship:
Once you receive an ECC scholarship, make sure to activate it. Scholarships cover expenses for award years only—they cannot be applied to past expenses.
See complete instructions for activating your scholarship.
Scholarships through the Foundation support El Camino students and meet the needs of our diverse student population.
Scholarship types include:
Scholarships help students with tuition, fees, textbooks and other educational expenses. They serve current El Camino students on their path toward a two-year degree or vocational/certificate program, and students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution.
Annual scholarships are supported through community contributions from individuals and corporations. The number of scholarships and award amount varies from year to year. Scholarships are awarded to students at a minimum of $1,000 per year.
Establishing an endowment provides permanent, sustainable funding for scholarships. Annual earnings are carefully reinvested to support scholarships in the future.
