The El Camino College Foundation provides over 600 scholarships totaling nearly $700,000 annually.
Scholarships are an ideal way to support student success at El Camino College.
Unquestionably, the Foundation’s generous supporters make this program possible, enabling a growing number of deserving students to achieve their educational goals.
The Foundation provides more than 600 scholarships annually. These scholarships meet the needs of our diverse student population.
Scholarship types include:
Scholarships help students with tuition, fees, textbooks and other educational expenses.
They serve current El Camino College students (path toward a two-year degree or vocational/certificate
program), incoming high school students and students who plan to transfer to a four-year
institution.
Annual scholarships are supported through community contributions from individuals and corporations. The number of scholarships and award amount varies from year to year. Scholarships are awarded to students at a minimum of $1,000 per year.
Establishing an endowment provides permanent, sustainable funding for scholarships. Annual earnings are carefully reinvested to support scholarships in the future.
