Connie Nguyen

Hi, I serve as the HR department's first point of contact. I’m also one of the staff responsible for employment matters for our hourly employees (Student Worker/TNC/TCs). Prior to my current FT position, I’ve also held various PT/FT roles at El Camino College in Student Services and Academic Affairs over a span of 15 years. I am also a proud graduate of ECC.

My work philosophy is to treat people with dignity and intelligence, and to educate others how to use their available resources to make informed decisions.

Outside of ECC, my other FT job is serving my most wonderful cow cat and taking care of my houseplants. My cat is the apple of my eye, my most treasured gemstone; and I'm always happy to talk about her to anyone who will listen. I also enjoy knit/crochet, video games, and reading.
