Whether you're brand new to El Camino or returning for another semester, Welcome Day is your first step into everything ECC has to offer. 

Welcome Day is designed to give you a meaningful head start before the semester begins. Expect a full day of exploration, connection, and celebration — all centered around you.

What to Expect

• Campus Resources: Learn what's available to support your academic and personal success, from counseling and financial aid to tutoring and basic needs services.
• Student Involvement: Explore clubs, organizations, student government, and events that make ECC more than just a place to take classes.
• Career & Transfer Exploration: Get an early look at career pathways, internship opportunities, and university transfer resources.
• Community & Connection: Meet other students, connect with faculty and staff, and find your place in the Warriors community.

9:30 AM	Career Exploration Presentation

11:00 AM	Student Support Services Presentation
12:00 PM	Lunch
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM	Spend the afternoon exploring the opportunities that matter most to you. Create a personalized schedule by selecting workshops to attend, visiting the Open House to connect with campus programs and resources, and meeting with Enrollment Services for one-on-one assistance if needed.
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM	Workshops: Demystifying SRC & Accomodations Canvas Overview Workbased Learning Financial Aid How to Stay Engaged Note: Workshops will be repeated at 1:00pm, 1:40pm, 2:20pm, and 3:00pm so that students can attend more than one topic.
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM	Open House Students will be given a map of various office programs to visit, meet staff, and get more information about support services provided. This is a self-guided event.
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM	Enrollment Support The Warrior Welcome Center will be open for support in registering for classes, completing the Math and English Placement Survey, or any other enrollment items. The Warrior Welcome Center is located on the first floor of the Student Services Building.
