The Institutional Effectiveness Committee (IEC) is one of the participatory governance committees at El Camino College. In addition to providing key input into the accreditation process, the IEC is responsible for promoting a culture of data-informed continuous improvement throughout the College.
The IEC will oversee the implementation of assessment activities across all units and leverage insights from the assessment data to improve the effectiveness of the units.
The IEC will also holistically review academic and administrative assessment results to facilitate cross-functional data-informed decision-making that links student success to institutional spending.

Meetings are held over Zoom the last Tuesday of every month from 2:00-3:30 p.m.
