El Camino College Art Gallery to Host Festival of the Arts & Enrollment Day on May 14
Free community event features student exhibitions, live performances, hands-on activities and on-site enrollment assistance
The El Camino College Art Gallery will host its Festival of the Arts & Enrollment Day on Thursday, May 14, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on campus. The free, campuswide event is open to the public and celebrates student creativity while offering community members the opportunity to explore academic programs and enroll in classes.
The festival showcases student work from programs across the arts, design, media and performance disciplines. Attendees can explore exhibitions, meet faculty, connect with current students and learn about starting or continuing their education at El Camino College.
The day's lineup includes the Makers Fair Student Marketplace, Riot of Roses Publishing House Book Fair, Healing Lullabies exhibition by Susie Chavez, SPARK Healing Quilt Workshop, and a Chalk Walk.
Evening programming will feature an Open Mic, Jazz Ensemble and Advanced Dance Concert performances, an Animation Projection, students’ artwork display, as well as a South Bay high school students art exhibition.
Community members interested in enrolling at El Camino College can meet with counselors on-site near the Anthropology Museum from 4 to 8 p.m.

The event will be held at El Camino College, 16007 Crenshaw Blvd., Torrance. Parking is available in Lots L and C (floors 2–4) for $3. Attendees should check in at the Art Gallery.
