Section 1 SAO Statement: By participating in the Education-to-Work activities created by CalWORKS, students will be able to connect their educational training directly to job skills.

SAO Statement (Updated 2016-2017): Students who meet with a counselor will have a better understanding of what is required in order to achieve their academic goals, leading to a more successful academic semester.  (Successful is defined as earning a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, completing and at least 50% of units attempted that semester, or persistence to the following semester). SAO Results Fall 2017.

SAO PLO #1: Upon completion of one or more Educational Development courses and/or utilization of Special Resource Center (SRC) services, a student will be able to show competency to apply requisite student skills in the integrated campus community.

SAO PLO #4: By participating in the Special Resource Center, students will develop the skills to request and use Deaf or Hard-Of-Hearing services (ASL Interpreting, Real-time captioning, Assistive Listening Devices) in a timely, effective and accountable manner.

As a result of completing the in-person or online orientation, students will learn basic information regarding ECC's registration procedures and educational options offered through ECC.
