Student Health Services offers online events and workshops to support students in their journeys. Live workshops give you the opportunity to ask questions and engage with the presenter.

El Camino students can access a variety of health and wellness support services and workshops throughout the semester.

Workshops or group sessions range in frequency from weekly sessions to monthly series to one-time events. Browse the upcoming events schedule and connect with your support system.

All virtual workshops and groups are free and provided by Student Health Services.

In this weekly workshop, we will practice mindfulness exercises, learn about mindfulness-related concepts, and listen to a guided meditation.

Can doing your best actually backfire? Learn how to balance striving for your goals and caring for your whole being.

Do you beat yourself up when things go wrong? Learn how to use kindness to relieve stress and achieve your goals.

Juntos Unidos - Salud Mental Awareness
All students are invited to connect with the Latinx community and understand the Mental Health/Salud Mental through the eyes of our people/gente. Join us to gain awareness on how some mental health issues are manifested in our communities.


September 9 - Depression:
Who is affected by depression and what do the symptoms look like?

October 14 - Anxiety:
Recognize the physiological manifestations of anxiety and how to manage an episode of anxiety.

November 18 - Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD):
What types of PTSD are there? Who gets it? What are some symptoms?

December 9 - Sleep Health:
Find out the physical impact of experiencing sleep difficulties. What can I do to improve my sleep and sleep health in the Latinx community.
