Student Health Services offers online events and workshops to support students in their journeys. Live workshops give you the opportunity to ask questions and engage with the presenter.

El Camino students can access a variety of health and wellness support services and workshops throughout the semester.

Workshops or group sessions range in frequency from weekly sessions to monthly series to one-time events. Browse the upcoming events schedule and connect with your support system.

All virtual workshops and groups are free and provided by Student Health Services.

Wellness Workshops & Events

There will be a WEEKLY $100 Amazon gift card drawing for those students who sign in at a Student Health Services event table or attend a full workshop! One entry per event and/or workshop attended!

Learn the skills needed to help an adult person in mental health crisis until the appropriate professionals can intervene. This is an interactive 6-hour virtual training to receive a 3-year certification: Help a friend AND help your resume!

This workshop will explain the risks of Fentanyl - a synthetic opioid causing a record high spike of unintentional overdoses across the United States. Overdose Prevention and Harm Reduction practices will be reviewed.

Although the LGBTQIA+ community is increasingly finding more support, systems of oppression and inequities are always present. This workshop will provide a safe space to discuss how to members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies can contend and cope with stressors to ensure mental and emotional wellness.
