Music Commons
Located in the Music Building, the Music Commons is open to the entire El Camino community and includes music practice rooms, study space, and computers. Each practice room is equipped with a piano, music stand, and listening station. We also loan out acoustic guitars, an electric guitar and amp, a classical guitar, tuners, metronomes, and auxillary cables. NEW! We now have a set of e-drums available for use.

Spring Semester 2026 Hours are effective Tuesday, February 17 until further notice.
Monday & Wednesday : 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. / 3 - 6 p.m.
Tuesday & Thursday : 10 - 11:45 a.m. / 1:15 - 6 p.m.
Friday : 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. / 3 - 5 p.m.
Saturday : Closed
Sunday : Closed
Whenever the Music Commons is closed, practice room keys are available for loan in the Arts, Media, & Entertainment (AME) Division office in Music 101 during the office's open hours starting at 8 a.m., Monday through Friday.
