Youth and Young Adults Job Fair Scheduled at El Camino College
More than 800 local high school students will converge on to El Camino College campus Wednesday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to participate in the 23rd annual Youth and Young Adults Job Fair in the Student Services Plaza. Under the theme of “Blueprint for Workplace Success,” the job fair is aimed at providing employment opportunities for high school students and young adults aged 16-24. On-site job prep workshops and campus tours are also scheduled to take place throughout the event. The job fair is a great opportunity for prospective employees to meet with representatives and recruiters from local businesses who are looking to hire youth and young adults to fill seasonal and full-time job openings throughout the South Bay.
El Camino is proud to partner with the South Bay Workforce Investment Board (SBWIB), YOUTHBUILD, the South Bay One-Stop Business and Career Center and BLUEPRINT who are co-sponsoring this event. The SBWIB will transport students from local high schools in the South Bay area to and from this event. Food will be served. This event is open to the public and is free.
Admissions counselors and other student support representatives from El Camino College will also be in attendance at the job fair to provide information about enrolling and registering for summer and fall 2023 courses.
Free parking is available in Lot C, located on Manhattan Beach Boulevard and Lemoli Ave. For more information click here.
