Social Media Ambassadors

Calling all Warriors! The Office of Marketing & Communications is looking for a group of social media savvy students who can help us produce original content for El Camino College and the South Bay community.

Create. Collaborate. Connect!

El Camino College's premiere content creation team will be comprised of four Warriors who have tremendous pride for our campus. They will represent ECC on the official Instagram, TikTok and other social media accounts. We aim to showcase an authentic display of student life at ECC with a unique and engaging perspective.

Eligibility

Eligible candidates must be:

  • Currently enrolled at El Camino College with a 2.0 GPA or above
  • Active on social media
  • Have a strong professional work ethic and commitment to create content through the academic year
 

Student creators will be compensated for four (4) hours of part-time weekly production. The role will also be flexible with students' class schedules.

Each social ambassador is responsible for:

  • Pitching storytelling ideas
  • Producing and editing at least one (1) video per week
  • Developing social media strategies and sharing trend forecasts

Ambassadors will also uphold ECC's brand guidelines and social media policy. They will refrain from producing self promoting and/or inappropriate content.

Our creators will also build their resume and work experience by learning best practices and industry standards under the guidance of our digital media coordinator.

 

  • This role is compensated, part-time and will be flexible with your class and work schedules.
