Social Media Ambassadors
Calling all Warriors! The Office of Marketing & Communications is looking for social media savvy students who can produce original content for El Camino College.

El Camino College's premiere content creation team is comprised of Warriors who have
tremendous pride for our campus. They represent ECC on the official Instagram, TikTok and other social media accounts. We aim to showcase an authentic display of student life at ECC with a unique and
engaging perspective.
How to Apply
Eligible candidates must be:
- Currently enrolled at El Camino College with a 2.0 GPA or above
- Enrolled in classes
- Have a strong professional work ethic and commitment to create content
Our Social Media Ambassadors will also build their resume and work experience by learning best practices and industry standards under the guidance of our digital media coordinator.
Each ambassador is responsible for:
- Producing and editing 1 video per week
- Pitching story ideas
- Collaborating with fellow ambassadors
Our students will learn basic mobile video production and editing skills with the opportunity to grow into advanced production with the Premire, After Effects, Photoshop and DaVinci Resolve. Additionally, students will learn how to utilize lighting, audio and camera equipment.
Social Media Ambassadors will uphold ECC's brand guidelines and social media policy. They will refrain from producing self promoting and/or inappropriate content.
- Program will run per semester
- This role is compensated four (4) hours of part-time weekly production.
- Hours are flexible with students' schedules.
