ShakeOut Earthquake Drill
Are you ready? Are you prepared? What we do now, before a big earthquake, will determine what our lives will be like after.
Get Ready to ShakeOut!
On October 20 at 10:20 a.m., El Camino College will participate in a virtual ShakeOut earthquake drill, along with millions of other schools, businesses, cities, firefighters, police and individuals who have registered for this event.

How to Participate
When given the signal at 10:20 a.m., all members of the campus community, wherever they are, are encouraged to:
- DROP to the ground
- Take COVER by getting under a sturdy desk or table
- HOLD ON until the drill ends
Because this is a virtual drill, occupants in buildings on campus will not be evacuated.
