Online (Virtual) Express Counseling
*ATTENTION STUDENTS: Express Counseling will be unavailable on Wednesday, May 25th
between 10:20am - 12:00pm. Sign-ups will resume after 12:00pm.**
Sometimes you just have a quick question for a counselor about a class you’re interested
in, or maybe you need to get a prerequisite cleared. Online Express Counseling is
designed to do just that – and more! Here are the services available through Express
Counseling:
- Prerequisite clearances
- Getting started at El Camino College
- General questions and referrals
- Quick course advisement for one semester (not an official Ed Plan)
- Consultation on Repeating Classes
- Questions About Dropping or Adding Classes
- Request to Enroll in Excess Units (Submit an Overload Petition Form)
Online (Virtual) Express Counseling Hours: Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and Fridays 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Hours and availability of counselors are subject to change, and the virtual waiting
lobby may lock 30 minutes prior to closing, or earlier if needed.
