Associate Degree for Transfer
The new joint transfer program from the California Community Colleges and the California
State Universities makes it easier for students like you to transfer between the two
school systems. For the first time in California history, community college students
who complete a new AA-T or AS-T will be guaranteed admission to the California State
University (CSU) system. With this new degree, you have the opportunity to complete
two degrees with only 120 units if you apply and are admitted into a similar degree

I Can Afford College
“I Can Afford College” got its start back in 2004, shortly after the California community
colleges increased their enrollment fees. The governor and the state legislature wanted
to make sure Californians knew how to make college affordable, so they set aside money
to create an awareness campaign about financial aid. This website is one of the main
elements of that campaign. Since the site was launched, it has received more than
2 million visits. Additionally, the number of community college students who receive
some type of financial aid has gone up by 68 percent since 2004. Find out more at:

MyMathTest is Pearson’s online testing and remediation application for developmental
and college-level mathematics. MyMathTest allows students to do self-guided practice
on several math topics. With MyMathTest, students are able to quickly and efficiently

Priority registration allows you to register early so you can get into courses before
they fill up. To be eligible, you must participate in orientation, complete the assessment
process for math and English course placement, and develop an Education Plan with
your counselor or advisor. This process will help you to clearly define your goals,
