Psychology

Our Psychology program teaches students how the scientific method is used to study behavior and mental processes.  Students learn how to design and conduct research, use statistics, and organize and write research papers.  They critically evaluate psychological theories and apply them to everyday life.  Students who complete the Associate of Arts degree for transfer can transfer to a four-year university to continue their education and prepare for careers in fields such as teaching, social work, counseling, family therapy, and more.
