Cal Grant Preliminary Qualifications:

Grants are awarded based on financial need and academic performance; funds are limited.

  • California resident for at least one year.
  • Attend an eligible California college/university.
  • Pursue an undergraduate degree or vocational/career training.

How to Apply for a Cal Grant

  1. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application by March 2.
  2. Submit a Cal Grant GPA Verification Form by March 2.

2021-22 Paper Cal Grant GPA Verification Form and academic transcripts deadline to submit to the El Camino College Financial Aid Office is February 18, 2021, for manual calculation. (NO EXCEPTIONS.)
