Alternate media is an alternative format of presentation of printed or electronic instructional and academic information. It is the same material and content presented in a different format. Examples of alternate media include a book transformed from print to audio, Braille (tactile) or electronic/digital format and captioning added to film/video.
You should plan for your alternate media needs as soon as you register for classes. Once approved for alternate media services, students may check the status of their textbooks/materials by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Students may also chat with or make an appointment with Alternate Media Services staff below.
