El Camino College Consequences

In compliance with state and federal law, El Camino College prohibits sex and gender-based discrimination pursuant to Board Policies 3410 (Non-Discrimination)3430 (Prohibition of Harassment)3433 (Prohibition of Sexual Harassment Under Title IX), and 3540 (Sexual and Gender-Based Misconduct) and Administrative Procedures 3410 (Non-Discrimination)3430 (Prohibition of Harassment)3433 (Prohibition of Sexual Harassment Under Title IX), and 3540 (Sexual and Gender-Based Misconduct).

Criminal and Civil Consequences

Complainants (or victims) have the right to file a report with the campus Title IX Coordinator and/or with law enforcement, including Campus Police or local law enforcement agencies. A complainant may choose to pursue criminal and/or civil legal action. Regardless of whether a criminal or civil action is initiated, the Title IX Coordinator will continue to implement the District’s Title IX Procedures. Administrative and criminal processes may be pursued concurrently.
