College Night at El Camino College is an open house event featuring workshops, a resource fair, twilight campus tours, and assistance with applying to El Camino College! Learn more about how to qualify for two years free college with South Bay Promise. All prospective students, parents, adult learners, educators, and community members are invited to attend!

Check-in for this event will be at the west entrance of the Student Services Building, directly across from Parking Structure Lot C., by Lemoli Ave and Manhattan Beach Blvd.

Athletics Workshop

  • Location: Student Services Building - 1st Floor - Room 141

Community Education Workshop

  • Location: Student Services Building - 1st Floor - Room 141
  • This workshop will introduce you to our Community Education program. Our Community Education department provides fee-based, short-term, not-for-credit classes, workshops, career-training programs and events for professional and/or personal development with an emphasis on inspiring a sense of wonder and imagination for lifelong learning.

First Year Experience (FYE) Workshop

  • Location: Student Services Building - 2nd Floor - Room 287 (Norris Foundation Conference)
  • Starting college can be overwhelming. After completing high school, you have to navigate a new campus with new expectations. The First Year Experience Program is designed to assist you with that transition. The program will provide you with high-touch services like academic advising, transfer counseling, financial aid assistance, and academic learning communities. Also, our cohort-based learning model will help you make connections early on with students who are also in their first year of college. FYE admits about 1000 new students each year. If you would like to be one of them, join us to learn how you can be part of FYE in 2024!
  • English as a Second Language (ESL) / ECC Information Session
  • Location: Student Services Building - TBD
  • This information session will be presented in both English and Spanish and will provide you with an introduction to El Camino College as well as information on our English as a Second Language program.

  • Admissions Application Assistance - Need help completing the El Camino College application for admissions? We are here to help!
  • Chat with a Counselor - Sometimes you just have a quick question for a counselor about a class you're interested in or maybe you need guidance with prerequisite clearance. Our counselors are available to help with some of your questions that you would not normally need an appointment for.
  • Resource Fair - At the Resource Fair, you will be able to take advantage of the different services that El Camino College has available to support you. 
  • South Bay Promise Application Assistance - Learn more about how you can waive your first and second year enrollment fees with us through our South Bay Promise. Receive assistance with your South Bay Promise application!
  • Twilight Campus Tours - Join us as we visit the different departments and buildings across campus! Meet some of the faculty and staff from each department and step into some of our classrooms!
