Start off the fall semester on the right foot! Join us at Prep for Fall Week!

The fall semester is right around the corner! Start off on the right foot by signing up for informative sessions on topics and services that our ECC community has designed to help you succeed. These sessions will take place during "Prep for Fall" week. All sessions will be hosted virtually via Zoom.

1 - 2 PM Decoding your Financial Aid Award Letter This session will review how to access and read your financial aid award letter, your bank mobile account, and financial aid disbursements. Watch Recording
3 - 4 PM Navigating MyECC - The Student Portal This session will show you how to navigate your student portal, access your ECC email account, and how to connect your ECC email to your phone. Watch Recording

 

1 - 2 PM Introducing the Student Learning Portal - CANVAS This session will review how you can set yourself up for success in a remote environment. You will also learn about Canvas, our learning management system, specifically how to find your courses, check grades, turn in assignments, find important class documents, and how to communicate with professors and classmates. 3 - 4 PM Career Center This session will introduce you to the Career Center whose mission is to offer quality comprehensive career counseling and services to all students. The Career Center faculty and staff aim to encourage and inspire students to achieve career and life goals by exploring their values, interests, personality traits, aptitudes and skills. 1 - 2 PM How to Get Involved This session will show you how to get involved on campus with various student clubs, organizations, and other leadership opportunities. Watch Recording
3 - 4 PM Meeting Your Basic Needs: Food, Clothing, and Other Resources This session will introduce you to services such as the Warrior Pantry and  Warrior Closet, and various others. All of these services are available to students. Watch Recording
1 - 2 PM Using the Library and Learning Resource Center This session will introduce you to our Library and Learning Resources Division whose mission is to empower every students, and the ECC Community, with the knowledge, tools, and life skills necessary to ensure success through academic guidance, compassion, and encouragement. 3 - 4 PM Tutoring Services This session will introduce you to the Tutoring Hub, which offers tutoring services in a variety of subjects.  Watch Recording
