Outreach Services

Campus tours. Workshops. College fairs. Info sessions. The Outreach and School Relations team offers a variety of services for your organization's needs.

How to Submit a Request

Please submit the form at least two weeks in advance of your first preferred service date. Once submitted, you will receive two emails from us:

  • The first is an auto-generated email to confirm that you have submitted your request. You should receive this within a few minutes.
  • The second is an email from our team with a status update. You should receive this within five business days.

Please note that submitting a form does not guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your needs. However our team processes all requests as best as we can, given our staff and resources currently available. All services are subject to cancellation/postponement dependent on staff availability due to COVID-19 or other extenuating circumstances.

We're here to help! For more information about each service, please check out the following list. 

 

Your students will be given a brief overview by an outreach representative and/or ambassador of services provided at El Camino College and the steps of enrollment. (Estimated time: one hour)

 

An outreach representative and/or ambassador will assist students who would like to apply to El Camino College for the upcoming semester in your internet-ready computer lab. A minimum of 10 students must be in attendance to provide an Application Workshop. (Estimated time: one hour)

 

Note: For participation in college fairs, do not use this form. Instead please email requests directly to outreach@elcamino.edu. Thank you!

An outreach representative and/or ambassador will set up a table with literature about the services offered at El Camino College and will answer questions students may have. This service may also be provided on a scheduled basis (weekly, biweekly, or monthly) if requested. (Estimated time: varies)

 

A Financial Aid representative and/or ambassador will set up a table with literature about the types of Financial Aid available at El Camino College and will answer questions students may have. (Estimated time: varies)

 

Students will be given a brief overview of available federal and state financial aid and the application process by a financial aid representative and/or ambassador. (Estimated time: 30-45 minutes)

 

A financial aid representative and/or ambassador will assists students and parents to complete the FAFSA or DREAM Act application and will answer questions students may have. The workshop will be facilitated in your internet-ready computer lab. (Estimated time: varies)

 

Tours are available depending on staff availability and safety protocols. Tours may be either in-person or virtual. For in-person tours, all campus visitors are required to wear masks and follow campus entry and health safety protocols. Please submit requests at least 2 weeks in advance of your first preferred tour date.  (Estimated time: 1-1.5 hours)
