The Reading and Writing Studio is committed to supporting student success across the El Camino community. Whether you're an adjunct STEM instructor or tenured humanities professor, the Reading and Writing Studio would love to collaborate to provide supplemental writing support to help students succeed in your course. In-Class Presentations
Our tutors can provide in-class presentations to students on a variety of topics including time management, essay organization, and proofreading strategies. Request a presentation here
Travel Tutors
Travel tutors provide in-class writing support to individuals or small groups of students during instructional times. If you have a workday planned for a writing assignment, you can request for a travel tutor to visit your classroom at this link.
Visit Verification
Consider including a visit to the RWS as an assignment in your syllabus or as extra credit. Our tutors and staff can provide verification of a student's attendance of a tutoring or workshop session.
