The Title IX and EEO Compliance Office receives, investigates, compiles reports, and makes recommendations for the resolution of both employee and student discrimination and sexual harassment complaints.
The Title IX and EEO Compliance Office develops, maintains, and monitors the District’s Equal Employment Opportunity Plan and ensures equal employment opportunity and compliance with related rules, regulations, and laws. It is also responsible for coordinating and facilitating compliance with state/federal laws and school board policies & procedures regarding unlawful discrimination and sexual/gender-based misconduct.
The Title IX and EEO Compliance Office is available to answer questions and provide assistance via appointment, phone, email, and Zoom. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

In accordance with California Senate Bill 1491 and Education Code §66281.8, the designated Confidential LGBTQIA+ Point of Contact is not considered a “responsible employee” for the purposes of reporting sexual harassment. This means they are not required to report disclosures of sexual harassment, sexual violence, or discrimination to the Title IX Coordinator or other authorities without the prior written consent of the individual who shared the information. This confidentiality is designed to create a safe and supportive space for LGBTQIA+ students, faculty, and staff. Please note: This confidentiality is maintained in a manner consistent with Title IX regulations.
